This ministry takes place at Joshua Haven on Saturdays and Sundays each week. Volunteers are needed to separate and pack bread donated by local restaurants for those in need. This ministry only takes about 30 minutes of your time. You don't have to sign up for both days and there are always two individuals helping each time. Mobilizer - Bernie Sybert 724-528-2202
Every 3rd Saturday of the month a free dinner is offered to the community. Volunteers are needed to cook, set-up and clean-up, and deliver meals. Sign-up the week prior to each meal in the narthex.
Each year in June a group of indivuals gather up their tools and extra energy to go on a week long trip to give back to an area that is suffering some type of devastaion. We have worked in hurricane and flood areas in Pennsylvania and New Jersey the past few years to help rebuild after Hurricane Sandy. We are looking for volunteers to go to Detroit Michigan leaving on June 11 and returning on Jun 17. We will be helping to rebuild flood damaged areas as well as low income housing. Please contact Jim Cox (724-714-3715) or Mona Novak (724-699-2237) for more information. Registration papers are available in the office.
